Defense Minister Ehud Barak on Wednesday stressed the importance of U.S. support for Israeli security in light of the political unrest in Egypt, while Ambassador Michael Oren urged the Obama administration to reaffirm its commitment to that regard.
In other words, Mubarak and his regime will stay. What also comes with this is the torture of Egyptian activists, the continuous moment of commdofication of necessary life that put Egyptian families and workers in a more precarious situation. Oh, also the patronizing attitude the elites will have on the Egyptian people (Mubarak calling Egyptians “his children”.
